THE WELFARE SYSTEM IN AMERICA: "SOMETHING IS DESPERATELY WRONG!" TODAY'S CHILDREN IN A WORKING FAMILY (CAC General Reading, June 14, 1994) OPENING MESSAGE: This Awareness indicates that it is a time in which entities find themselves being squeezed for more energy and find it more difficult to come up with the energy that is being demanded of them. This Awareness indicates that these times are such that it requires two entities in each family to support the family, where in the recent past, in the Fifties and even Sixties, one wage-earner could support a family. Now it requires two, and the two wage-earners supporting the family, often leave the children without parental help, so that they do not get the guidance and support necessary. This Awareness indicates that it also means that the parents do not get the support they need. The husband does not have the foundation of the home, because the wife is working also, and the wife, being at work most of the day, cannot distribute her time to the children, who need her as much as children of other generations have needed their mother, and yet, often there is not enough money to hire a maid or someone to assist in the home, or there is not enough money to send out clothing to be cleaned or to eat out, and because these things cannot be afforded, the mother or the father has to pick up and maintain the home in addition to working at their job. This Awareness indicates that this means the entities not only work jobs, but they work longer hours in having to take up the slack for their home life, along with the work life or career life. This Awareness indicates that they also neglect the children somewhat, even if they do their best to give them time. The raising of a child needs to be one parent giving attention to each child, in quality and in time, so that the child receives sufficient attention of time, with sufficient equality of attention. TV is not practical in today's world, so the child is slighted in his or her upbringing, and the parents are stressed out from such long hours and so much demand on their time and energy. This Awareness indicates that when it is possible for entities to receive help from grandparents or some other assistant, the damage to the family can be minimized. This Awareness indicates that in such situations, it is important for a family to have some kind of organization or order, where the children take up some of the responsibility for themselves, and the home is, if not attended to, at least not harmed by the children's presence. In other words, if you can train the children not to mess up the home, and possibly even to give them certain duties in keeping the home clean, this can minimize some of the stress so that you can have more time to spend with them. This Awareness indicates that it is a situation in which everyone has to not only be willing to do more than their share, but be willing to organize and create a kind of system that benefits each by the cooperation of all. This Awareness indicates the concept of, "I'll spend some time with you tomorrow if you get the house clean by the time I get here," or the concept of, "We can go out and have dinner tomorrow together at a restaurant if we can avoid spending excess money for that project that you are asking for;" this kind of mutual decision and mutual agreement as to how to run a better ship, or more precisely, run a better family, through the cooperation and trade-off of each member, can allow for learning opportunities as well as greater enjoyment of each other's company, when entities are able to properly communicate their needs and are willing to assist each other. This Awareness indicates that, of course, if you do not take care of your needs and you become resentful, you become a much worse partner or parent than if you take some selfishness on your part to meet your deepest needs, and fail to sacrifice yourself. This Awareness does not advocate self-sacrifice. It advocates cooperation and readiness to assist each other without sacrifice. Because when entities feel they are sacrificing, this can only go on for a short period of time before they become resentful, and the resentment may turn to hostility and violations toward others. The Plight of the Single Mother With Children This Awareness indicates that the single mother who has more than one child probably has the most difficult life of anyone, because to raise more than one child creates a complexity in the chemistry of a family that is extremely difficult, and the mother, especially if she has to survive without financial support from some person, father, or from parents who can help, will have an extremely difficult time trying to find income, trying to work a job while still having two or more children. This Awareness indicates that it is a problem that entities need to consider while they are very young, before they have children. Too often, young girls, deciding what they want to do with their life, think that having a child somehow frees them of parental controls and gives them emancipation from the family, frees them from the home, lets them live out in a different place, and have personal freedoms. Obviously they are hoping something like Welfare will take care of them. Too often, however, the Welfare program does not attend their needs sufficiently, nor as they had hoped for, or it runs out too soon for them to get their life in order. They may hope that within a certain length of time they will find their Prince Charming, who will be there to support them, to raise them, to give them money, and to help with the problems of the children involved. Too often it is simply a story of the man helping the woman have a baby, and the woman finds the man gone to another place, or to another person, and they are left with the child, hoping that Welfare will pay their way until some other fellow comes along who is willing to attend to the first man's child, and these entities then are caught in a situation they did not anticipate. When Young Girls Go Out and Get Pregnant This Awareness indicates that it is a problem throughout your country. Many people in other countries would also have similar problems if their country had Welfare programs to take care of single-parent families. This Awareness suggests it is a problem partially brought about by lack of education for such young girls. Had the girls been educated or properly raised, this may not have occurred. Of course, there are often situations in which the parents do their best to inform the children of the dangers of their behavior, but the child knows too much and the parents are "old fogies" and the child doesn't care whether the parents like it or not, they are going to have their fun, and if they get pregnant in the process, it is just too bad for the parents. This Awareness indicates that ten years later, the child may be angry at the parents for not stopping them from being so wild as a teenager. There are even cases where some children who were allowed the permissive behavior by the parents, will turn around and sue their parents for letting them have so much permission. There are even cases where the child defies the parents' will, goes her own way, has babies and then still comes back on the parent and tries to sue the parent for letting them get pregnant so young. This Awareness indicates, however, even when the parents have done everything in their power to keep the girl from getting pregnant, she may still come back and claim they should have done more. This Awareness indicates that these are problems in your society today that do not seem to be going away. Partly, it is because there is the Welfare dole on which the young girl can expect to fall back on, if her plans for marriage do not work out. This Awareness indicates it is a matter of priority. Whether to prioritize marriage before babies or have a baby and hope for marriage. This seems to be a problem that some young girls have, and it has become very widespread in your society. This Awareness indicates that it has also led men to feel less responsibility for their role in the realm of baby-making, wherein the man can simply point and say: "Go get your money from Welfare! You should have left me alone! You entrapped me! I am not going to play your game!", and thus the man avoids his responsibility, letting Welfare pick up the tab. Some Young Girls Do Try to Entrap Young Men This Awareness indicates that there is something desperately wrong with the whole scheme of things. This Awareness indicates that with the way things are at present, it is tempting for young girls to try to entrap a man by becoming pregnant, for they have the naive ideology that if they become pregnant and have this man's baby, he will surely love them and want to live with them and take care of them for the rest of her life. This is a very naive idea, but many young girls believe in it, because they still are closely linked to fairy tales and happy ever-after stories that they have been told since they were small children. Thus, they have a slap-in-the-face awakening when they realize that their dreams are not reality, their hopes have no substance, and they are left with a child to support and no man wants to pay for it. Then they have to turn to an agency of the government and beg and grovel in hopes that the government will give them some several hundred dollars a month, so they can at least pay their rent and get a few meals to survive on. Problems of Being on Welfare This Awareness indicates that being on welfare is very difficult for most entities. There is really very little that they receive in terms of the amount necessary for reasonable survival. Most do not get enough to carry them through the month, even if they are very frugal in the use of the money they receive. There is no money left over for luxuries. Most need to get extra hand-outs from family or friends. This Awareness indicates that most are forced to deprive their children and themselves from average dietary foods, buying cheaper foods that do not add to their health, but simply fill their stomachs. This Awareness indicates that entities who envy those on Welfare should be cursed by being on Welfare long enough to realize it is not some kind of enjoyment and usually not a privilege to be on Welfare. It is barely enough to stay alive. This Awareness indicates that the problem is not so much Welfare fraud or mothers who are trying to survive on Welfare in order to avoid work; the problem is that most of these mothers have never worked, do not know how to get a job, and could not hold a job if they had one. Most of them are incapable of the responsibilities of holding a job -- but they are experts at taking care of children in meager situations on meager budgets. This Awareness indicates that most of these mothers live a life of suffering with very little hope of getting out. They look for hope through other people, seeking to find perhaps some kind of relief through the Lottery or through a man, or through a group of people who are organizing for better treatment of Welfare mothers. But, in general, they gain very little. This Awareness indicates that as time passes, their life becomes one of more and more apprehension. Their children are growing older. Welfare will soon be cut off. They have to get a man or some outside income somehow, but they are incapable. They have no one to baby-sit, because the baby-sitters want too much in comparison to what they could possibly earn. If they get a job at minimum wage and the baby-sitter makes minimum wage, the money goes to paying the baby-sitter, and there is little or nothing left over from the earnings. These entities are in a difficult situation. The only logical hope for many of these entities is that somehow they can get pregnant again and start the Welfare cycle over with another newborn child. Thus, the Welfare mother may then have two more years on Welfare in which she can get food stamps and collect a few hundred dollars a month to take care of her children. This Awareness indicates it is a sad situation. The government should not be involved in creating Welfare dependence. There is the question of whether a government, in taking care of a needy person, is doing any good for the person, or if the government is simply sustaining the lifestyle of that person so that the person can continue living that nonproductive lifestyle, having more children and continuing to feed off the system without giving something back in return. Does Welfare Help or Hinder the Needy? This Awareness indicates that this is the question many people are wrestling with today: "Does Welfare help or hinder the needy? Does it help them by feeding them? Or does it hurt them by encouraging them to stay on Welfare?" This Awareness indicates that there are certain efforts by some entities to change the Welfare program by cutting the limit to two years, so that an entity cannot remain on Welfare for more than two years. This Awareness indicates there also needs to be an accompanying program in which the father of the child is expected to attend to the costs of raising that child, so that the entire burden doesn't fall on the mother and on the government alone. This Awareness indicates that to some degree, this has been incorporated by the Justice Department, where if the father is found, he is made to help pay for the costs of raising the child. But too often, the father simply drops out of sight and refuses to work, or works underground, taking cash for labor, or somehow avoids his obligation, perhaps working under a different name or in a different state, so that no one can find him to collect on his debt to his children. This Awareness indicates that Welfare reform, if it comes, should include some way of tracking down the father, putting the father on notice, making the father help pay for his children and alleviating or eliminating the easy out that some fathers seem to choose after having a child, so that they can't simply pick up their tent and go. This Awareness indicates that it is a situation that you will hear more about in the coming months. It is a situation that will undergo change. It is not something that can happen overnight; it is not something that can reasonably be expected to cease. You cannot simply cut off Welfare altogether. To do so would cause extreme hardships, and probably a number of deaths of women and children who cannot survive without some help. Perhaps Society is Responsible for Pregnancies This Awareness indicates that it is true, many of them have made poor judgments, and made decisions that have led to their needing to be on Welfare, and it is true that they deserve, perhaps, to suffer some consequence. But perhaps this action of becoming pregnant as a young girl is not only the responsibility of the young person. Perhaps it is also the responsibility of the society that does not properly educate these young people or warn them of the pitfalls of sex outside of marriage. This Awareness indicates that perhaps society has made it too easy for entities to jump into sexual relationships and motherhood without properly preparing them for the responsibilities and costs of such actions, and if society is partially responsible for the misbehavior of the young people, are they not also partially responsible to help pay for the damage to the individual who is thus misinformed, or uninformed, as to the dangers of sexual relationships prior to marriage? Some Say Just Get Rid at Welfare Altogether This Awareness indicates that these are questions that entities will be asking in the near future as Welfare reform considerations are presented. There are some who simply and fervently advocate getting rid of all Welfare. This Awareness indicates it is a heartless position, but they feel it is right to get rid of all Welfare and let people suffer the consequences of being poor, of not being prepared and of not having a good job. This Awareness indicates that because of this extreme attitude, which appears to be growing among more and more people, there will be many who suffer. This Awareness indicates that along with all of this, there needs to be some kind of social responsibility, a responsibility of society to redirect these Welfare victims, the people who are on Welfare so that they can have an alternative, so that they can, for example, go to school, learn a trade without being penalized or having their Welfare payments cut off before they are capable of getting some other occupation or having some other way of earning a living. Society Must Pay for Mothers' Schooling This Awareness indicates there are many entities who would not like to allow them the opportunity to go to school and these entities believe that they should be cut off of Welfare entirely if they go to school. After all, they do not get their own schooling paid for; why should a Welfare recipient get free schooling? But this Awareness indicates that these entities have to have some kind of help after being trained to do nothing. Society has assisted them in becoming Welfare recipients, has promised them or implied to them that they can get Welfare if they have a baby or if they cannot find a job, and because of this implication, many entities have bought into the Welfare program. Now they are finding the Welfare program drying up, and they want some kind of outlet. How do they get away from it without having all of their sustenance cut off? This Awareness indicates that many will say "Let them go the churches!", but the churches also have been hindered. The tax laws recently have depleted donations that entities would have normally sent, because entities can no longer use the donations as tax write-offs in many situations. This Awareness indicates that many entities do not donate to the churches in the way that they used to, and therefore, the churches are also strapped for money and cannot help many of these entities in the way churches were able to help in the Middle Ages, or in the past. This Awareness indicates that surely these entities who are so hostile to Welfare do not want those children and mothers starving to death on their front steps. No. They would like to see them go somewhere in some area of town where they are out of sight, nameless numbers, and let them starve in those areas. This Awareness indicates any knowledgeable and compassionate person does not want the Welfare person starving at all. They want them to become independent, to learn to help themselves and to have reasonable comfort that any human being should have. This Awareness indicates that therefore, there will be many changes, many arguments, many concerns expressed over this issue, and this issue will be around for some time to come, and it will bring much discussion from many different corners with many different ideas and plans on how to fix the Welfare program, how to deal with the poor. The "Military Budget" -- the Greatest Welfare Program of Them All This Awareness wishes to point out one other aspect of this concern about Welfare and the poor. The greatest Welfare program in your country has to do with your military-industrial complex. The greatest part of your budget goes to the military, and the military has to keep changing its needs in order to keep the factories going so that new weapons are always creating a greater demand for more Welfare money from government, which is labeled "military budget." Why is it that this military budget still so needful when there are few real areas of threat to this country at this time? When there is basically no enemy of significance to this country, why does the military budget still demand so much energy and why do people support this military budget, which is really just another Welfare program for the super-rich, for the ones who manufacture weapons and arms and keep the armaments going, and keep the factories building these unnecessary weapons? This Awareness indicates that some of these weapons are so expensive that the cost of only one or two of them equals as much as all Welfare recipients combined receive in a year. (ED's Note: Clinton's 4-year military budget - $1.2 trillion.) This Awareness indicates that there are things that are totally askew and out of balance in the way people look at what is Welfare and what is necessary. Which is of greater importance: weapons of destruction, or people who need help? This Awareness does not mean to say that entities should be given unlimited help through Welfare, but suggests rather that they should be given sufficient help to get them into a productive mode that allows them to become a more integral part of society, even if money has to be taken from the military budget, so that these wealthy arms manufacturers do not get so much Welfare money from the government, and so that the poor get enough to where they might actually be able to free themselves from dependency on the government. This Awareness suggests that further questions may be asked. This Awareness began discussing this partly because it is current in the news and partly because It digressed from the previous discussion of family and home. WOULD THE UNIFIED STATES OF AWARENESS WORK? (Awareness Has Already Given the Alternative New Age Government) FOLLOW-UP QUESTION: Well, this is a very important area that needs to be examined. I recall Awareness, in 1977 in York, Pennsylvania, on the "Unified States of Awareness" readings, gave a proposal that under the Unified States of Awareness, shelter would be provided and guaranteed for everybody, and enough food, and something else, I forget, but would it be of any help to try to get a program like that with those suggestions? COSMIC AWARENESS: This Awareness indicates that this, of course, was a hypothetical idealistic society that was being promoted as something to energize. This Awareness indicates that it does not appear that present society, under present conditions, with a type of capitalism in which a few families control 95 percent of the world's wealth, would promote or allow a situation like that described by the questioner to occur. It appears, rather, that this could be a small program that starts either from some proposal that catches on in a certain area, or that someone finances as an experimental approach. If it were promoted as an experimental program and caught on because it worked, then it might be accepted upon a more broad level in some bureaucratic aspect, so that somehow, in time, these things could become integrated in your society. But this does not appear to be something that could occur soon. When introducing an experimental program, you need to have experts: sociology experts, psychological experts, PhDs to determine that this would be worth checking into, and of course they have to be given large amounts of money, either through government grants or through private grants to research such a potential program, and of course this research can go on for many years, because these entities now have jobs which are paying them large amounts for such research and for their opinions. The longer they can milk the system for more money for more research, the longer they will keep this research going, and the longer it will be before anything concrete happens. Once it is decided that "Yes, there could be some value in this program," then it will be a question of the next group trying to determine how it could be implemented, and this could go on for several years at a great cost of more money. Eventually, if the program continues to be funded, they may actually put it into practice, using certain control groups, and if this still works to their expectations and everyone feels comfortable with what is happening, it might become a pattern or model for some new governmental program. This Awareness indicates however, just to get an idea and promote it, things do not happen that way in your society. It would have to go through all of the hoops before it could be tested, and once tested, if it survived all the criticisms and potential conflicts from different sides, it might be accepted or modified, and in the modification, it might be so changed that it is not much different from any other program. It could be a new type of HUD or a new type of Welfare that evolves some 20 years from now, but this Awareness indicates it is not likely to have much impact, and it will require extremely great amounts of energy just to get to the point where it would be considered as a viable program. WHEN AN IGNORANT DAUGHTER GETS PREGNANT: IS HER MOTHER KARMICALLY RESPONSIBLE? (Candidates for the Welfare System) QUESTION: If a mother has loose morals or has extremely liberal views in this area and does not make much effort, if any, to teach her daughter responsibility, and the daughter goes out and gets pregnant and all that entails what Awareness listed: Welfare syndrome; wouldn't there be karma involved for the parents on this? COSMIC AWARENESS: This is in the affirmative. This Awareness indicates that often the mother has strong morals, does not like what is happening to the daughter, but the daughter, being influenced by society, and society informing entities that there are ways to avoid getting pregnant, and society broadcasting commercials on TV showing these young girls having great fun at beer parties where alcohol is advertised, with these beautiful girls and these young men, showing that the alcohol is that which brings them together and brings them happiness and other similar types of imageries, often influences these young people into thinking that it is OK to forget what your mother says and just to get out and have fun with your friends. They do not see this as being immoral. They see it as having fun, and they think they have a right to have fun, because they have been so miserable at home, or at school with so much responsibility. This Awareness indicates there even is a song: "Girls just want to have fun!", and this song and other such these words of influence have an effect on young girls who are often easily influenced. This Awareness indicates that their idea of themselves is that they are young, they are beautiful, they are desired by many different men and that the men are responsible and can take care of them, and if they should get pregnant, the men will do the right thing. They are trusting in nature. They do not yet know that the world is filled with unscrupulous people. They have been protected and raised by honorable parents so they expect the people of the world to be honorable also. This Awareness indicates that this is a generalization and not all women fit into such a category, but there are many who do fit into this category and are simply candidates for the Welfare program or for single-parent families, and these are the ones who eventually end up with a child and no father in the home. This Awareness indicates it is not that they are bad people, nor do they necessarily have loose morals. What is Immorality? Usually, a person who is considered of loose morals is simply a very generous person, or who is very trusting, and they do not have to think of themselves or see themselves as not having any morals. They can have very high morals, but at the same time, may just be very generous and trusting, and they give their body because they do not want to hurt or disappoint this person or that person, or that other person over there. This Awareness indicates that they are generally quite generous in their expression and with their things. Most prostitutes are not selfish people; most of them are generous to a fault. This Awareness indicates that they do not think they are immoral, even though they are often told that they are immoral. This Awareness asks: What is immorality? Is it being excessively generous, even with your own body? Perhaps it is. But is generosity a fault, or is it a fault only if they are generous with their body? Where does generosity become a vice instead of a virtue? There is often a fine line between the sinner and the saint. BIRTH CONTROL INFORMATION AND CONDOMS IN THE SCHOOLS: WHY DO SOME GROUPS FIGHT AGAINST THIS? FOLLOW-UP QUESTION: Well, prostitutes are supposed to know and take the responsibility of birth control, but teenage girls, even though they're taught birth control in the schools, and ironically, there is a very vocal group of entities in this country who are even against that, namely right-wing Christians I believe most of them are, and some of these schools that offer birth control pills to the girls and condoms to the boys and being attacked by these people even though I read recently that the latest polls show that the girls are having intercourse much younger, ages 13 and 14 now, and by 15 it's almost half of the girls in the class, or some figure like that. My question is: Isn't this a self-defeating thing, that people can't get together and understand what the lack of the birth control and the birth control information is creating for society? COSMIC AWARENESS: This Awareness indicates this is in the affirmative, in some degree. There is also the other side of the argument used by these right-wing groups that if you provide birth control, it is as though society is telling the children: "It's okay to have sex, just be careful. It's okay to have sex, even if you are still children, but you must be careful," and if this message is being conveyed by those who promote the use of contraceptives, then does this not give a further message to even younger children who are 9 or 10? Is it not something that they too will begin to think about and wonder about? -- "I'm ten years old now. When do I get to try it?" This Awareness indicates that the argument of the conservatives is that by giving birth control to children at school, it is encouraging more and more sex at younger and younger ages, and these entities would rather see things go back to the way they were in the Fifties or before, when entities normally did not have sex before the age of 18. This Awareness indicates that there seems to be a problem. Regardless of which way entities go, whether they are protected with contraceptives or whether they are allowed contraceptives, it still tends to grow because entities do not seem to want to teach the hazards and responsibilities that go with having children when you are still a child yourself. This Awareness indicates that parents do not wish to talk to their children about these things. It is embarrassing. It is even hard to imagine your child having sex, much less talking to them about it at such a young age. This Awareness indicates that because people do not wish to talk about it and because psychology has made it such a taboo to imply there is anything wrong or incorrect with sex as a form of personal enjoyment and expression, most parents are confused as to what to do when they find that their children's friends are having sex, and their children's friends are only 13 or 14 years old. Most parents don't even find out about this. This Awareness indicates that most children keep quiet because they know that their parents would not let them see these people again if their parents knew. This Awareness indicates that therefore, parents do not talk to the children. There is no one who wants to take responsibility for explaining to the children that: "If you have sex and if you have a baby, it will be an extremely difficult hardship for you. You would have to get a job, work and support your child, and taking care of a baby is much more difficult than taking care of a doll." This Awareness indicates that even if you did, these children would have no idea what you were talking about. They would not be able to understand the full impact of what you are saying. To them, the image of taking care of a baby is simply putting a bottle in its mouth and rocking it back and forth. They do not comprehend the need to wake up in the middle of the night three or four times, change the baby's diapers, take care of it when it is sick, get up and go to work, and find someone you trust who will take care of your baby. They do not comprehend the problems that go along with a real live child. They simply see a baby as "...a little living doll. You put the bottle in, rock the baby back and forth, its eyes close and it goes to sleep. You lay it down and go do your business." This Awareness indicates this is the way young girls visualize being a mother. This Awareness suggests that the young girls should be given the opportunity to care for a baby before even considering having a baby of their own. ALARMING STATISTICS AND PARENTAL NEGLECT ("Fun, Fun, Fun, 'til Her Daddy Took the T-bird Away") FOLLOW-UP QUESTION: If these statistics they keep putting out are true, these young girls are having intercourse and getting pregnant at younger ages. How can, in the face of these facts, (or maybe these charts aren't correct)... COSMIC AWARENESS: This Awareness indicates that the charts are correct. QUESTIONER: They are correct. COSMIC AWARENESS: This is in the affirmative. Also you will note that young girls are using makeup at younger and younger ages, trying to look more adult. This follows the same trend. QUESTIONER: So it seems, then, that the root of the problem is more in our society than... COSMIC AWARENESS: This is in the affirmative. This Awareness indicates it is not so much the parent's fault. The parents, normally, are out trying to make a living, trying to support the children they have already, trying to find ways to make enough money to pay the bills so that the electricity and phone do not get shut off, the groceries can be purchased, the children can be fed, the house can be heated, and other things that are necessary for a comfortable home can be maintained. The parents do not really have time to spend great amounts of energy watching what is happening to their children. The children's lives are being formed by television and by their peer groups in school, and peer groups in school are interested in having fun, and some interest in the school work appears for some of the students, but that remains generally in school. When they are out, they want to have fun, and it is very easy for an entity to get caught up in that enthusiasm. This Awareness indicates that most good homes are very calm. There is little excitement in the home, and as excitement is expressed within a home, more problems also accompany that home. This Awareness indicates that as entities get excited and enthusiastic about something, they tend to create more reasons for others in the home to become jealous or to move into conflict with the entity who is excited, and this kind of home life in which there is excitement or a negative type of excitement, can lead to more conflict within the home. Excitement Can Create Bad Judgment and Karma This Awareness indicates the same thing occurs in schools. As entities become more excited, such as during recess or after school, about some incident or about some entity, or whatever, the excitement tends to build, and it is out of that excitement that bad judgment occurs for many of these young people. Most karma is created from entities who are young and excited. Their excitement can build over some action or over some incident or over some visualization so that a group gets caught up in the excitement and does something that hurts someone or leads to some problem. This Awareness indicates there is not much that the schools can do because the teachers are simply doing their job. They go to work, they do their job of teaching and they go home. They are not really into character building or child raising; that is left for the parents. The parents, however, do not have time for character building, or child raising either. They leave that up to the school while they go to work, then they wonder: "What is my child learning in school, anyway?" Parents Alone Are Responsible for Character Building This Awareness indicates that it requires some work by the parent and some by the school, but the real responsibility for character building belongs to the parents and they cannot throw it off because they are too busy working. They are still solely responsible for the character of their child. If they do not like what is happening at school, and if school tends to alter the character of their child, change it or bring it into conflict with their own values, then they should discuss this with the school, but they do have the responsibility for the character of their own children. This Awareness indicates that it is important for them to give the child the impression that they are all working together to better things for each other. If the child understands this, there is less likelihood of the child being in conflict or defiant of the parent's values. Parents Can't Get Dependent on Their Children This Awareness indicates too often the parents try to get some kind of gratification from the child; parents expect the children to look up to them, to do things for them. The parents become almost as dependent on the children as the children are on the parents, and when this occurs, it puts a great burden on the children. Parents need to be more independent and self-contained so that they do not make the children feel great responsibility for their welfare as a parent. That is too big a burden to put on any child. They have not yet learned to take care of themselves. How can parents expect the child to take care of them? Yet, this occurs in many families. THE VALUES OF THE PARENTS BECOME THE VALUES OF THEIR CHILDREN (Are the Old Morals Really "Old Hat"?) FOLLOW-UP QUESTION: Isn't the most effective way a parent teaches his child values is by looking at his or her example? COSMIC AWARENESS: This is in the affirmative. And this is one of the reasons why there are so many children who have embraced their parents' values and are engaging in sex at a young age with various partners. They have either seen or are aware of their mother and father doing such, and therefore, they see this as growing into adulthood. They see this as something they must learn, and must experience. This Awareness indicates the old morals that have been handed down were not simply rules of conduct for the sake of having rules, or of being righteous, they were also codes of society to help entities avoid some of the difficulties in life that would occur without such codes of conduct. The idea of keeping a marriage sacred, of avoiding adultery or other acts of licentious behavior was designed to keep society from having jealousies, spreading diseases, or creating conflicts between entities avoiding responsibilities and commitment. It is like dealing with social problems ahead of time, and that's essentially what these early commandments and moralities were for -- to take care of the problems so they do not occur. If you did not have these mores and codes of conduct, then everything would be chaotic. People seeing your wife or husband would see them as fair game at any time. If they could simply go over and persuade the entity to come with them, families would be broken up right and left, but if entities honor a kind of social code or morality, then these families and society would remain more stable, with fewer fights, fewer conflicts, more social responsibility and commitments to keep people and their relationships more solid. Evil Controllers Are Behind Society's Breakdown All of this, of course, is undergoing a great breakdown. Society is essentially falling apart into a kind of chaotic situation. It is a chaos which can be manipulated and controlled by those who are in positions of greater power, and these entities have brought about this chaos so that they can mold and change and redirect society into a direction that they can more easily control than when it was based on tradition, morality and social codes that appeared in the past. Thus, meanings and values are now confused in most people's minds, so they do not know what to value, nor do they know the meaning of life, or various aspects of life. A NEW TREND: GIRLS TAKING CHASTITY PLEDGE (Will the Boys Take All This Laying Down?) QUESTION: Would Awareness comment on what appears to be the beginning of a movement here in the United States of teenage girls in certain schools and in certain churches, who are signing a pledge of chastity, that they will not have intercourse until they're married? In fact, in today's paper, there was an article about that very thing, and I think it listed two or three thousand girls in one church group; they were holding their certificates and waving them in the air. What does Awareness think about something like that? COSMIC AWARENESS: This Awareness indicates that it is an action that appears to be spreading. People have begun to realize the hazards of being open, loose, and free in sexual expression, and many entities are waking up to the reality that it is damaging to their lives, to the lives of those who are too lacking in value systems. Some of these entities who have been educated by concerned parents are taking a stand and showing themselves to be committed to a more responsible approach in their lives. This Awareness suggests this will gain momentum and many entities will become involved in this movement so that in due time, entities will reject some of the efforts by those social engineers who have tried to change a society that worked into one which is falling apart, and these entities will bring back certain values and morals that make life more meaningful and more workable for them. This Awareness indicates there will be a new value set based upon purity, chastity, and many of the young men in the future will strongly seek out girls who have taken such a vow, seeing this as something very special. This will help return to society a new resurgence of certain old moralities that once were lost. This Awareness indicates that, of course, if it goes too far, and people become overly focused on avoiding pre-marital sex to the point where it is something that becomes an obsession, this could become hazardous, throwing entities back into problems that are psychologically damaging to themselves. But for a time, this appears to be a beneficial movement, one that helps to restore a balance to society. FOLLOW-UP QUESTION: I suspect the peer group of males won't take that laying down. They'll probably put a lot of pressure on these girls, wouldn't they? COSMIC AWARENESS: This is possible, depending on the individuals. As a group, this is likely to be seen as throwing up a challenge to these men and there will be many who will attempt to see what they can do to break down the will of those women. This Awareness indicates that if they continue to advertise their virginity, it could become problematic for them because it would tend to create challenges for certain men who may not have the scruples to respect their position on the matter. This Awareness indicates on the other hand, there could be many men who will respect these entities for their stand. ALL ABOUT EXCITEMENT AND ENTHUSIASM FOLLOW-UP QUESTION: The recess excitement level may account for something I've observed and could not find any reason for. For instance, is this "recess syndrome" the same thing that took over in Vancouver last night where hockey fans had a lot of enthusiasm which then erupted after the excitement level reached a certain point? (ED's Note: Thousands of Canadian fans rioted in the streets, overturned autos, smashed windows and rampaged through downtown Vancouver, trashing everything in their way) COSMIC AWARENESS: This Awareness indicates this is in the affirmative. In the case in Vancouver, however, the team -- the Canucks -- expected to win the series and there was excitement built around the expectation of winning. When the team lost, there was a mixture of anger and frustration and the excitement turned from elation into frustration and therefore caused many people to act negatively. FOLLOW-UP QUESTION: It seems that celebrations over winning sometimes brings violence too. There was something about judgment "flying out the window" when excitement reached a certain point... COSMIC AWARENESS: This is in the affirmative; that it is very difficult for entities to be judicious and think logically when they are overly excited. You must be relatively calm to be logical and objective. This Awareness suggests that entities who keep a calm household will have things run more smoothly. If entities simply watch for excitement levels starting to build and interrupt the excitement with something that is more calming in nature, they can help to prevent extreme and sudden hazardous or accidental or disruptive events from occurring. This Awareness indicates that this excitement does not necessarily have to be negative to be harmful; even positive excitement can become distorted to the point where it creates problems. It should be watched carefully. This Awareness indicates that, for example, if someone is very excited because they got straight A's in school or accomplished some great achievement, rather than everyone getting excited and cheering and voices becoming elated, a quick response to head off that kind of excitement might be: "Well, that's great news. Let's go out and have dinner and celebrate." Something of this nature, which remains calm and keeps the issue calm, while still acknowledging the benefits of the achievement can be a way of helping to congratulate the person, while still keeping the excitement level down, so that the excitement energy does not get misdirected, to cause some kind of negative reaction or response. QUESTION: I thought it was important to get excited about something every day, that it was something to try to do. COSMIC AWARENESS: This Awareness indicates that it can be helpful to the adrenal glands, but it can also create resentment from others who do not feel your same excitement and caused them to feel left out, or somehow resentful that you feel so good. This Awareness indicates that it may become contagious so that everyone gets excited and wants to do something exciting, and in that effort, someone gets over-excited and causes something to happen. It is just a general rule that homes that are more calm have better results. Children study better, get better grades. Children who live in homes where excitement is the thing tend to compete with each other over how to create excitement. One will find something exciting and joyful to do, and another will come along and break it or stomp on it, or feel resentment and cause tears to flow. This Awareness indicates it is just a general rule that homes that are more calm and avoid excessive excitement do better in terms of children, in terms of avoiding problems. People who expect excitement all the time become very upset when things are not going well, and they try to find something to get excited about, and often become depressed because things do not remain exciting. They expect excitement to give them energy, and the energy they expect is not always flowing and they become angry, resentful, or hostile because someone isn't providing them with enough excitement. You have heard entities say, "I'm getting bored." What they want is someone to entertain them, give them energy, make them feel excited. They want the adrenaline to flow in their bodies because they are, perhaps, not energized as much as they would like to be. Remember in the "Celestine Prophecy," that everyone is trying to get energy from everyone else and they are working in competition for energy. The action of getting excited or promoting excitement is just another way of getting energy from others by starting off with an expression of excited energy, trying to excite others so that they will return equal or greater excitement and energy. How to Draw in Energy Without Violating Others Entities can gain energy from the surrounding environment when their energy is low by observing the surrounding energies and drawing them into themselves through the action of "observing themselves observing," or by feeling the energies "out there" as being part of themselves. This Awareness suggests you take energy from plants, from scenic and panoramic views, and bring those energies into yourself. It leads to a kind of well-being. It does not need to pass through the adrenal glands as excitement. You can give attention to others and give them energy that you have drawn in, and it can be done in a way that is not highly exciting, but which is playfully and joyfully expressed. This Awareness indicates that It does not imply that you should always be dull and boring. Some lilt in the voice, some playfulness, some rise in the attention level, which could be akin to excitement, can be ways of giving energy to others, but when entities are too excited, when entities work up energy by being excited and building on more and more excitement, there is great danger of accidents because of the over- excitement. Energies over-build and people lose their balance -- emotional, mental or physical balance -- and accidents and injury can follow, or jealousies or hurt feelings may appear. Creating Destructive Excitement It is quite possible for entities to be around someone who is highly excitable and to find that what started out as a pleasant enjoyable excitement suddenly turns to become hostile and destructive in terms of the energies involved. Sometimes an entity will attempt to excite someone in a friendly way, but the entity receiving the attention sees it as something that disturbs him or her. It is as though somebody is trying to tickle them, and they do not want to be tickled, and the entity may react in a negative, rather than an exciting playful manner, and then that reaction may lead to further conflict. If these entities have not come into the energy of excitement, and had been calm, such problems would not have occurred. This Awareness indicates that It does not mean that excitement is in any way "bad." It is simply saying that a calm home with a minimal amount of excitement generally is a better place for children to grow up. Their intelligence is enhanced by a calm home, moreso than a home in which there is all kinds of chaotic excitement and unexpected changes, events, emotions, and expressions going on. GOOD AND BAD THINGS ABOUT ENTHUSIASM FOLLOW-UP QUESTION: Perhaps the word should have been "enthusiastic." Like Jean, with the kids; it appeared that almost every day she would go outside and find something in nature that she would get very enthusiastic about, and the children would go out and look at the butterfly or the rainbow or the reflection of the agate in the sand, and that sort of thing. It may be that Vikki meant that instead of excitement, enthusiasm about something once a day at least... COSMIC AWARENESS: This Awareness indicates that this as in the affirmative, that enthusiasm within certain limits can be great, helpful and contagious. But enthusiasm in driving can be very dangerous. The entity who is so enthusiastic about high speeds and who finds that driving on the freeways at high speeds is a great feeling could be asking for a lot of trouble. This Awareness indicates that enthusiasm has its place. It helps to give entities a great feeling about certain things. It gives them the energy necessary to carry through. This Awareness indicates enthusiasm, for example, in an action of selling a product is almost essential to the sale of the product, but this Awareness indicates that enthusiasm in picking on someone else, and making them feel degraded, is not so good, nor is it so good to have one who is enthusiastically trying to accomplish something that would violate another, or enthusiastically driving down a highway. The energies of enthusiasm are much like energies of excitement; they must be understood and kept within certain limitations to be beneficial. This Awareness indicates excitement and enthusiasm in a game of basketball can be most beneficial in helping to play well. Enthusiasm and excitement in a sword fight or a boxing match might help the entity who is excited, but it might also cause the entity who is excited to misjudge and mis-act and lose the match. This Awareness indicates but there is a place for enthusiasm, there is a place for excitement. It is important that these energies be measured and controlled to some degree so that it is not simply energy being flung around. To swing a sword in a sword match which is intended for fun can be exciting and can be enthusiastic, but if the entity becomes too excited and too enthusiastic and flings the sword without good balance of judgment, he or she might hit some innocent bystander or might somehow hurt the competitive partner in spite of any shields they may be wearing. There has to be some sense of control as to how much enthusiasm, how much excitement takes over. This Awareness indicates it is much the same with imagination. Imagination is a key to any kind of creative work. Imagination is a wonderful thing when it is kept under certain control or held within certain boundaries. The imagination run amuck can be destructive to an entity. WATCHING ENERGIES IN A RELATIONSHIP CLOSING MESSAGE: This Awareness indicates that there are many things that entities can learn from the action of watching energies in their relationships. Where is the energy moving in this particular relationship? Who is gaining the energy from this or that action? As you go through your day to day activities, think in terms of who is taking energy away from whom, who is giving energy to whom. This Awareness indicates that it may be surprising for you to watch the movement of energy. You do not necessarily have to see it. Just observe who is getting the energy from this or that conversation, who is getting the energy from this or that act. This Awareness indicates this does not mean that you should become competitive, but it is important for you to learn to watch where the energies go when this or that event occurs. When someone speaks to you, what is it that they are seeking? How do they attempt to take your energy? Are you giving them energy? Do you appreciate the energy? Do you give energy back to them, or do you simply take their energy and feel good about yourself because they lost energy and you gained? This Awareness indicates that these are things to watch, these are things to consider. Particularly, are you taking energy from your children, or are they taking energy from you? If your children are taking energy from you, do you resent it or do you willingly let them have it? Can you help your children to learn how to take energy from the universe so as not to take it from each other or from your or from other people? This Awareness indicates that these are things for entities to start becoming more aware of, because it will become a greater issue in the future between entities as they become more and more aware of the energies of relationship and where these energies go. AN UPDATE ON CURRENT EVENTS IN MOTION (Jack McLamb and Linda Thompson Arrested) (Excerpts from a CAC General Reading, August 8,1994) OPENING MESSAGE: This Awareness indicates it has been approximately two months since this Awareness has addressed certain issues. Many of the elements have undergone change and there are also many questions that entities have expressed in regard to some of the issues that were previously in motion. This Awareness wishes to discuss some of the changes that have occurred since the last reading, as this is important for entities to understand, especially in regard to the information by Jack McLamb that has been sent to you or which may be included with this message. (ED's Note: This pamphlet was mailed with this issue. Jack McLamb is the man who founded Police Against the New World Order and is also the author of "Operation Vampire Killer 2000." Please refer to "Revelations of Awareness" issue 93-12, "The New World Order: A Special Report"; $5 from CAC.) This Awareness indicates that the information given in the pamphlet by Jack McLamb's organization refers to United Nations forces within the United States that will be used in helping to set up the totalitarian government, bringing the United States under the New World Order. This Awareness indicates that there is another element that relates to this in that the U.S. Army has issued a warnings -- or you may call it an "order" or "ultimatum" -- directing the United Nations Forces to get out of the country by the end of September. This Awareness indicates it remains to be seen whether this will occur or just what in fact does occur as a result of this ultimatum. Linda Thompson's March on Washington DC This Awareness indicates that in regard to the Linda Thompson project, which most of you have been assisting in one way or another, through the energizing and spreading of information, this Awareness is pleased to inform you that this action has been canceled. The action will not occur in mid-September, as previously stated by Linda Thompson, in part because she did not receive sufficient support from the various patriot groups and in part because she was persuaded by many entities that it was not in the best interest of the patriot movement for this to happen. The entity was also physically roughed up by police when her car was stopped for a minor traffic violation, and when the police found a gun in her car, the entity informed them that she had a permit to carry it, but they ignored her and physically abused her, handcuffed her and threw her into a paddy wagon, and took her to jail. The entity later was released with apologies when it was discovered that she indeed did have a permit to carry the gun. This Awareness indicates that the same type of abuse or harassment occurred to Jack McLamb and this entity was arrested for wearing a police badge and impersonating a police officer. The entity was actually wearing a badge that stated he was a retired police officer and the entity was guilty of no crime in wearing such a badge, as this had been given to him upon his retirement. This Awareness indicates what essentially is occurring is that many of these entities who are asserting themselves as patriots are being harassed unmercifully by those forces trying to intimidate them to cause them to stop what they are doing, for it is waking the masses and alerting entities as to what is occurring in this country, and this is not the desire of those promoting the New World Order. The Federal Reserve Bank Lawsuits This Awareness indicates that the entity Schwasinger, who attempted to work in the suit against the Federal Reserve Bank and who promoted certain information around the country in regard to the Federal Reserve Bank, was put in jail for contempt of court, but no fraud charges for any of the things he has ever said or anything he has promoted have ever been filed. The same may be said for others involved in the Federal Reserve Bank suit. This Awareness indicates they are unable to find or prove fraud in any of this. This Awareness indicates that many entities have expressed some concern in regard to their claims and some have sent in the $300 filing fee, and now wonder how long it will be before they see anything for their efforts, or whether they will ever see anything for their $300. Some entities feel considerably concerned and anxious and wonder if they have been victimized by a fraudulent scheme, as many newspapers report in regard to this situation. This Awareness wishes you to understand that at any time you so desire, you may ask for your $300 back and it will be promptly returned to you; that this is in reference to the Herb Haven Trust. It cannot speak for every lawsuit being filed against the Federal Reserve and the operations of such. This Awareness indicates that if you request your $300 back, you will lose your place in line, and re-filing at a later time will put you at the bottom of the list; therefore, you may wish to consider this when requesting your refund. This Awareness indicates that in regard to this, the entity Schwasinger was released from jail. Schwasinger, along with Hildebrand and approximately 20 others, were called to the Treasury Department in Washington DC, and met behind closed doors. Upon leaving, they reported to their various groups that things were happening. It was slow, it was tedious, but things were happening, and many people were going to be very happy. This Awareness indicates that there are many things that cannot be said in regard to this; that to say any more could damage certain situations and could be dangerous for individuals. Therefore, this Awareness will say nothing further in this regard at this time. It is better to be overly-cautious than to express too much. This Awareness indicates that nobody said it would be easy for this lawsuit and settlement in regard to the Federal Reserve Bank to be satisfied for the American people. No one said that they would simply go away without a struggle, without doing everything in their power to fight back, to destroy those who have put them in this position. This Awareness indicates that they have spent 400 years preparing for this time, and to have it upset by a few people who caught on to their game and who have somehow managed to use the laws and circumstances in such a way as to threaten the takeover of the planet by these entities, is not something that they will accept easily. There are many powerful people involved in this, as you may read in the McLamb pamphlet which has been sent to you, and these entities have no intention of sitting back and letting the people regain their freedoms and independence. Therefore, you should be aware that a struggle will occur between these various forces and it may not be pretty. This Awareness indicates that hopefully, it will be without great conflict, but do not be surprised if something of great magnitude in terms of conflict actually does occur in this country before things are settled. IS THE ARMY REALLY BEHIND LINDA THOMPSON? (Why is the Silence so Deafening?) FOLLOW-UP QUESTION: Awareness has indicated previously that the armed forces or the army was behind the Linda Thompson effort. Why doesn't the army or some spokesman from the army come out with that information so that the march will be allowed? COSMIC AWARENESS: This Awareness indicates that it is a situation in which the military was not involved in the planning of this action; this was a unilateral action on her part. The army is behind the efforts of this entity in principle, but it is a situation in which an action of such magnitude, which would drag in the army or certain factions of the army into a situation not of its own planning, would be improper and not to the liking of those entities who would, in principle, support her. They would be turning over their credibility and authority to a woman lawyer, and there are few generals who would choose to act in such a manner. lt would be careless on their part. This Awareness indicates that the action of Linda Thompson was not well thought out. It was dictated by emotion, but it is not the action that was important. It is not so much the activity that this Awareness wished to promote. It was the controversy that was of real significance, because controversy draws attention and attention causes entities to focus and look, and focusing and looking educates many, many entities who might not otherwise have had any idea as to what is going on in this country. This Awareness indicates that during all of the activity of notifying people in regard to this action, many entities became aware of certain elements of society, certain principles involved in freedoms, in Constitutional and democratic concerns as voiced by Linda Thompson. This Awareness indicates that in such action, entities woke up and woke up their friends, their neighbors, and members of their family. Many of these entities had no idea of what was going on, and they looked at such a paper and said: "What's happening here? Look at this! This woman is going to march with a militia into Washington DC, and arrest Congress for being traitors to the country. What is this all about?" And they examined and were open to learning certain things about the affairs of Congress, and the principles of a free society based on the laws of the Constitution. In other words, it provided an opportunity for entities to pass information, and for entities receiving such information to learn more about what is occurring. This Awareness indicates it is not the only chance to awaken the masses; there will be further spread of further information, such as with the McLamb material and other information, that will continue to spread throughout this country and throughout the world. This Awareness indicates this is where the real significance of the event lies, in the spread of information. It is good that the action itself did not take place, for it would have served the government in its effort to extract guns from citizens and to create laws that would be much more restrictive on citizens. This Awareness indicates that when the mass media, the press, the television and radio are all controlled by the powers that operate the political machinery, there is no way that an entity can win in a situation such as that promoted by Linda Thompson in her original plan. This Awareness indicates the greatest winning is in the spread of the information. This Awareness indicates that entities would be surprised how far and how wide the information was spread during these several months. It would not have been spread had it not been such an outlandish plan. Entities could not accept it, but could not ignore it, and spread the information partly because it was so bizarre and outlandish. WHY IS THE U.S. ARMY HARBORING UNITED NATIONS TROOPS AND EQUIPMENT? FOLLOW-UP QUESTION: Awareness indicated the army has issued an ultimatum to the U.N. troops to get out of the United States by a certain date. "The Spotlight" newspaper has been running a series of articles, complete with photographs, showing these U.N. trains and U.N. war machines, tanks, trucks --thousands of them, but most all of these are confined on U.S. Army bases under very tight security. How does Awareness reconcile that? COSMIC AWARENESS: This Awareness indicates that there are certain elements in the U.S. Army that are sold out to the New World Order, but there are certain elements that are very much opposed to the NWO and are sworn to uphold the Constitution. When the time comes for action, these elements will let themselves be known for what they are. This Awareness reminds you that if U.N. troops, vehicles and weapons are located within a U.S Army base, you can look at it as protection -- or you can look at it as confinement, depending on how the U.S. Army chooses to work its activities. ABOUT THAT QUESTIONNAIRE TO SOLDIERS: "WOULD YOU BE WILLING TO SHOOT AMERICANS?" FOLLOW-UP QUESTION: "The Spotlight" also ran an article, which we reprinted and sent out on our mailing, which showed proof that the military, particularly the army, is putting out questionnaires to their troops asking them it they would be willing to fire on Americans if they would not give up their guns. How does Awareness explain that, if the army is planning to run the U.N. out? COSMIC AWARENESS: This Awareness indicates that the army is a mass of individuals, a mass of units, a mass of organizations; it is not a single-headed organization. Therefore, one head of one organization within the army can issue certain commands and certain projects or questionnaires, but that does not necessarily mean that all entities heading different divisions and departments of the army are also seeking to promote those same questions, nor does it show what the information will be used for. This Awareness indicates that, in all probability, it was directed either from the White House or from some political entity who wants the army to request the information and the army simply is carrying out the orders, questioning entities in regard to this particular concern. This Awareness indicates that the army is not a single entity, or a one- headed church in which all members follow each other blindly without the possibility of having rebels within their midst, or without the possibility of working with other factions, other military forces, nor does an implication such as this necessarily mean a fact. The implication is that the military is preparing to locate troops who they are certain will fire on Americans. However, it could well be that the military is locating these troops to make sure they are never involved or put in a situation in which they could possibly fire on Americans. This Awareness indicates that you do not know the true motive behind the question. This Awareness indicates also that there are other military people in other branches involved in this secret group, and that these entities work together. This Awareness indicates that it is very possible that at a particular time, a military coup could occur in this nation, in an effort to stop the politicians who have sold out to the New World Order. But this Awareness wishes you to understand that It is not going to talk about this, or to alleviate all of your curiosities about this issue so that you can feel satisfied or comfortable with such an idea. To discuss this could also be extremely dangerous to entities and could, in fact, destroy any prospect of it occurring, or of any resolution to the problem. This Awareness does not see it as a high priority for entities to know everything that is going to occur in the future, particularly if it will cause greater problems in the future, to know such information. WAS O.J. SIMPSON TRIAL DELIBERATELY SET FOR SEPTEMBER 19th TO DRAW ATTENTION FROM LINDA THOMPSON'S MARCH? QUESTION: A question from J.S., Pacifica, California. he writes: "The O.J. Simpson trial is scheduled to begin September 19th. This is also the date set for Linda Thompson's march on Washington. Is this mere coincidence? Or was the scheduling of the Simpson trial set deliberately on September 19th to draw the masses' attention away from the march on Washington? The TV audience alone for the O.J. Simpson trial will be one of the largest in history. Will people care about anything else at that time? COSMIC AWARENESS: This Awareness indicates that this appears to be a decoy or something to focus the attention away from that which would have occurred in Washington had it not been called off. This Awareness indicates that much of the increasing press coverage of the O.J. Simpson trial is caused by certain factions in the local Los Angeles government organizations in which many things are brought out to keep the audience titillated by ongoing innuendoes and intrigue. This Awareness indicates for example, the discussion of the purchase of a mustache some months ago by O.J. Simpson helps influence entities into assuming such a purpose must have been for ill purposes, but there is no evidence of this; it is simply titillating information that continues to keep things boiling in the press so that the masses continue to focus on the story. This Awareness indicates that the press, of course, is interested in selling publications and it knows that anything printed on the story will sell their publication. Therefore, they continue to look for such titillating little events and situations to promote and sell more newspapers, more stories, more tabloid information. This Awareness indicates that it keeps the information hot before the public, and can keep the focus during a time such as might have occurred on the 19th of September if the march had occurred as previously planned. This Awareness indicates there would have been very little press coverage of the march had it occurred, and there would have been many arrests for entities parading without a license. In some instances, there may have been some elements of violence, but it appears that most of the violence would have taken place behind closed doors after the arrests had been made, and these entities would not have been able to really get close to arresting any senators. This Awareness indicates that it is fortunate and wise that Linda Thompson did not carry out her plan. Had she received massive support from across the country, it could have been a different story, but the support she visualized and expected was not forthcoming and she was wise to recognize her mistaken attempt and understanding of what she could accomplish. Once she recognized that she was mistaken about the response of entities, it was wise that she called off the meeting. Otherwise, many individuals would have been jeopardized and, particularly, the issues would have been jeopardized by her action. The importance, which is not likely to be understood by many, is that a great education occurred -- entities were informed about certain things happening to this government which were of such a serious nature that a near rebellion was considered and almost occurred. FOLLOW-UP QUESTION: Several months ago Awareness indicated, when questioned along this line by a questioner who was skeptical of the whole thing, that there would be a march, albeit perhaps a small one. Now Its saying there will be no march whatsoever? COSMIC AWARENESS: This Awareness did not say "whatsoever." This Awareness indicates the entity Linda Thompson called off her march or will have called off her march by that time. That is what this Awareness is indicating. If there are entities who go there anyway, who march, it will be of their own doing; it will not be because she is still promoting this march. They may not hear that the march has been called off and they may appear. This is not necessarily of any great significance. FOLLOW-UP QUESTION: So at the time that question was asked, Awareness did not see in the future that the march would be called off? Is that correct? COSMIC AWARENESS: This Awareness sees many things, but does not inform your readers of everything that It sees. This Awareness indicates that what It saw, mostly, was that a great opportunity for people to be made aware of certain elements in society in their activities of trying to control this country could be made aware of certain resistance and change and potential awakenings through the action of Linda Thompson. This Awareness could have said that, "This will come to nothing," but in so doing, none of your membership would have promoted any information, nor would you have sent out the reading to your membership and it would not have furthered any education. Also, this Awareness does not indulge in second-guessing entities such as Linda Thompson in the sense of informing people that she is not likely to follow through on the plan. This Awareness imply informs entities of energies that are in motion according to their expression at the time. Also, this Awareness does not, through this Interpreter, make very good predictions regarding the future. The Interpreter does not read energies in this regard in the highest and most valuable way. He is no Nostradamus and cannot properly read many of the messages and future energies that this Awareness shows him. Therefore, in many cases when questions are asked about the future through this Interpreter, there can be error in his interpretation if that is what you are seeking to understand or inquiring about. ED's Note: As I am putting this newsletter together (in late August), CAC has still not received any official notification that Linda Thompson has called off her march scheduled for September 19th. We have heard from one source that Linda went on the radio and made an official announcement that the march was called off. However, we also have heard that after her announcement, there was a ground swell of supporters who were urging her to reconsider and to go ahead with the march. The word is that she has reconsidered and the march is on again. However, none of this is confirmed. Awareness is correct when it comes to predictions made by the Interpreter, (I can't think of a single one that occurred exactly as predicted), so if Linda changed her mind again, it appears the Interpreter again did not interpret the energies sent from Awareness correctly. Therefore, we are assuming here at CAC that the march is still on, or that something is scheduled to happen in D.C. on September 19th, and we are still mailing out the information regarding the march on Washington and the "Declaration of Independence of 1994." We urge you to continue doing the same. Stay tuned... QUESTION: A question from R.S., Pickering, Ohio. He writes: "If the New World Order is aware, via the aliens, that earth is entering 4th Density, and that their time is short, that the Light People are effecting this density conversion, then it would seem logical to them -- the New World Order people -- that if they exterminated and removed the Light Bringers from this planet, then they could put a stop to the conversion from 3rd Density to 4th Density. Can the New World Order prevent the change to 4th Density to keep their control over the masses of earth?" COSMIC AWARENESS: This Awareness indicates that there are many hypothetical aspects to the question. This Awareness indicates that questions based on hypotheses: "If this, then that," can be answered within a hypothetical framework, but it does not necessarily follow that it applies to reality. This Awareness indicates that in response to the question "Could they stop the Light Workers, and thereby promote their New World Order?", one could say that if they can stop the Light Workers, they have a great possibility -- and in fact a great probability -- of promoting the New World Order in its complete expression as visualized. This Awareness indicates that of course, this also is hypothetical. FOLLOW-UP QUESTION: I think the question was: "Can the New World Order prevent the change to the 4th Density?" COSMIC AWARENESS: Essentially, this is the same thing; it is just worded in a different way. The change to the 4th Density implies that the New World Order would fail, and by preventing the change to the 4th Density the New World Order would succeed. This Awareness indicates that in reference to non-hypothetical discussion, this Awareness does not see the New World Order or its promoters as being able to destroy the Light Workers or to stop the movement into higher frequencies; that all efforts to stop Light Workers will only result in more Light Workers or more people becoming aware and growing toward Light in their new awareness of the corruption behind the efforts to destroy Light Workers. This Awareness indicates that when any force begins to show itself as being corrupt, there will be many entities who will see that and be very much opposed to such a force. This Awareness indicates that in the early days of Rome when Christians were being martyred in the arenas, this very act is what led to Christianity eventually becoming the new religion of Rome. This Awareness indicates that any time entities are picked out and martyred by some totalitarian force, those entities in their martyrdom become a powerful force that will in time, and with sufficient power of a psychological and spiritual nature, bring down that totalitarian force. The Pyramid Represents Power This Awareness reminds you that the pyramid is the symbol for power, and entities who climb the pyramid seeking power, whether that pyramid is in politics, in government, in military, in religion or whatever, will find that when they reach the top of the pyramid, there is no point. The point is gone, and there is no way they can reach the apex, for it isn't there. The power only leads entities to a point where they expose themselves, and others climbing meet with them at such a point and eventually they begin to throw each other over the sides, trying to be the only power on top -- and always there is someone, in time, who overthrows the last one who was on top. Therefore, the pursuit of power is futile. No one can hold power for any great length of time, except through the use of total surrender. By totally surrendering to the aspects of Divinity, one holds a kind of power that affects many forces, many entities, many situations, but no one seeks to overthrow such an entity who is in total surrender to the Divine. DO THE BAD GUYS HAVE METERS THAT READ THE AURAS OF THE LIGHT WORKERS? FOLLOW-UP QUESTION: R.S. had a P.S. to his question just asked. He writes: "In reference to the New World Order people being able to ferret out Light Workers, I heard they had meters to read the auras of light-bearing persons. Is that true?" COSMIC AWARENESS: This Awareness indicates that this is seen as in the affirmative; that it is possible to read vibrations of entities with these devices to tell whether an entity is highly evolved spiritually. This Awareness indicates that this does not necessarily mean that the entities using such devices can be effective in ridding the planet of spiritually evolved people. This Awareness indicates that even if such spiritually evolved people are somehow exterminated, there will still be opportunities for others to evolve spiritually, and for those who have passed over to return to this planet -- even as children of those who participated in their extermination. Then what occurs to the exterminator when his own child radiates a higher frequency? Things will change, even in the consciousness of the exterminator. Be Not Afraid of Death This Awareness wishes entities to understand that death itself is not the end of things important; death is a transition which allows entities to begin a different experience, a different life, and entities who are no longer afraid of death cannot easily be controlled by those forces that threaten one's welfare. This Awareness indicates if entities are not easily controlled by threats to their welfare, they are essentially free to express themselves in ways that many others might be unable to do. This Awareness indicates that entities who believe that the physical world is the beginning and end of everything would be terrorized by the thought of physical death or the threat to one's welfare. This Awareness indicates that those entities of higher spiritual evolvement are not so easily controlled by threats and fear, and therefore, many earthbound physically-attached entities are frightened of spiritually evolved individuals because they see them as uncontrollable by usual methods. MATTOID IDIOTS CONTROL OUR COUNTRY QUESTION: We received a flier on a booklet written by Archibald Roberts, a retired Lieutenant Colonel. He's the man who formed the "Committee to Restore the Constitution," and it's called "The Anatomy of a Revolution." He says in the flier that the entire 32 pages was entered into the Congressional Record by Honorable John R. Rarick, member of Congress, the 9th of October, 1968, and he quotes an interesting thing here, and I'd like to ask Awareness to comment. He says: "A self-documented research study traces origins of world revolution from Adam Weishaupt to David Rockefeller. Vital to understanding the forces underlying U.S. social, economic and political convulsions." And he quotes from Page 5, the following: "Contemporary history, in fact, convincingly suggests that those who head the Federal Government are manipulated by mattoids -- men of unbalanced and dangerous brilliance. These hidden exploiters of the United States power structure apply an inverted psycho-eugenic science as a weapon against the people. They have seemingly perfected a sophisticated and systematized plan incorporating brainwashing and genetic prostitution to achieve a Soviet-style control over the American social order." Could Awareness comment on that, particularly the mattoid reference? (ED's Note: "The Anatomy of a Revolution" is available for $3 from Committee to Restore the Constitution, P.O. Box 986, Ft. Collins, CO 80522) COSMIC AWARENESS: This Awareness indicates that this as a term coined by Erskine Caldwell in reference to an entity who focuses so much learning in one narrow area that the rest of the entity is totally without learning or understanding. The entity's focusing is excessively in terms of power or a particular field of knowledge, but the entity is idiotic and without any knowledge whatsoever of other areas of human interest. They may have a great knowledge of manipulating through money or power or social structures, but have absolutely no understanding whatsoever of human relationships, personal intimacy, artistic beauty and appreciation, or spiritual principles. To look at spiritual concepts, for such entities, would lead them to focus on how they can manipulate the masses by using it, or find some way to commercialize it and make money from it. They would not be able to simply appreciate a spiritual concept for what it is or for what it offers. This Awareness indicates that this mattoid idiot kind of consciousness is that which some entities have developed. If it were made physically symbolic and manifest, it would be like a rhinoceros, in which the horn is the focus and the entity has no other area of interest; his entire interest being on his horn and the rest of his humanity being but a vague blob of existence focused toward the horn itself. This is the way the consciousness of a mattoid idiot is experienced, where they focus only on that particular area of their own deeper and greater concern and all other areas of life are essentially ignored. Other people to them are not of any significance other than in how they may fit into the particular focus of their horn. FOLLOW-UP QUESTION: Ralph Duby (the very first Interpreter of Cosmic Awareness back in 1965), many years ago, gave a lecture called, "The Mattoid Idiot." In fact, that was the only reference I recall to any conspiratorial type of information until Awareness started channeling through David Worcester (the second Interpreter for Cosmic Awareness; the current Interpreter, Paul Shockley, is the third). Was he referring to the same? COSMIC AWARENESS: This as in the affirmative. IS THE SPIRIT OF HOWARD HUGHES DICTATING A BOOK ABOUT HIS MURDER? (Stretching An Ex-Spouse to the Limit) QUESTION: The other night on, a tabloid program, they were interviewing an actress by the name of Terry Moore, who at one time was married to Howard Hughes, and she was telling them that Howard Hughes is communicating at night with her in her dreams. He wants her to write a book, and he told her he believes they are soulmates, and she hears him talking inside her head, very believably, and he is dictating a book to her which exposes a side of Hughes never covered before, how Howard was murdered through neglect, he said. And she says, "No way could I know the information that's coming through, and he's forcing me to write this book, in fact, he's begging me to write this book, for the record." She says: "I can't rest until I do it," and she's in the process of writing this book that Howard Hughes is dictating to her. My basic question is. If this information is valid, how common is this, and how can a spirit who has been dead as long as Howard Hughes communicate or dictate a book which she hears inside her head? COSMIC AWARENESS: This Awareness indicates the question is: "How common is this," but the "this" is not clarified. This Awareness suggests that this be clarified. QUESTIONER: Well, if this is valid information, my basic question was, how common is this type of thing in regard to people who are writing books, for example? COSMIC AWARENESS: This Awareness indicates in other words, how common is it for entities who write books to be given the information from spirit levels? QUESTIONER: Precisely. COSMIC AWARENESS: This Awareness indicates this is not that uncommon, but it is not extremely common either. It is about 3 or 4 percent at best, nearer 1 or 2 percent. However, there is a higher percentage of people who can be inspired by spirits from beyond who write a book. This Awareness indicates that this is 10 to 15 percent. But to have it dictated in actual its words and ideas is more like 1 percent or fewer. This Awareness indicates if there is another part of the question, that it be repeated. QUESTIONER: Yes, there is. He's been dead a number of years, and I was wondering, is this the real Howard Hughes, or is this perhaps an astral shell that is communicating to her? COSMIC AWARENESS: This Awareness indicates the question appears to be whether the essence of Howard Hughes had remained intact or gone on and left a portion of Howard Hughes behind which is concerned about this murder, and therefore, as a portion, wishes to rectify the crime, assisting in the writing of the book. This Awareness indicates that it appears that it is a portion of the entity that remains which is concerned about this, and until the issue is cleared up to its satisfaction, the entity will not feel whole and complete and released from the lifetime that has been wrongly terminated. This Awareness indicates that this occurs many times, in many cases, where entities are violated, murdered or killed in a way that is unjust, where the entity cannot let the injustice win, and therefore, continues to create a kind of haunting or disassociation from the rest of his or her being, by lingering and trying to make the truth come out. This Awareness indicates that this is why often there are ghosts involved after a death where the entity leaves a kind of astral shell that continues to haunt a domain or to help uncover evidence that brings a murder into refocus and catch the person who was responsible. This Awareness indicates that this appears to be such an incident, where the entity realizes that he was deliberately put into a situation in which he could not survive without help and then the help was denied. This Awareness indicates that it was a kind of murder by negligence, and the entity is trying to alert others as to what happened. This Awareness indicates it is part of the entity's worship of justice, that the entity held justice to be an extremely high and valuable quality and, therefore, sought and seeks to have justice done in this situation. FOLLOW-UP QUESTION: Terry Moore seemed reluctant and implied that she was just being badgered constantly about this, until she buckled under. In cases like this, is there any violation occurring? COSMIC AWARENESS: This Awareness indicates that it appears to be a kind of coercive pressure that the entity is experiencing. It is not the kind of thing an entity would invite or enjoy and therefore, she feels some resentment toward this spirit or ghost of Howard Hughes. Yet, at the same time, she was married to him, and she does have some karma with the entity and this can be a way in which she works off the karma and also she can find some reward in doing this. This Awareness indicates it is no worse than what other men put their wives through sometimes while alive, but one could ask: "How much does a woman have to endure from a husband who has already passed on?" This Awareness indicates that she may have a strong reason to object to being further coerced by a dead husband. This Awareness indicates that marriage is generally seemed to be valid while entities are still alive, "till death do us part," but apparently the entity Howard Hughes presumes that since he has concluded they are soul mates, she is still obliged to him and to help him bring justice to his life and death scenario. This Awareness indicates that for him to be acting properly in this manner, he should check with her to see if she wants to be a party to his book, rather than pressure her into writing it, even if she is opposed to the forces at work. This Awareness indicates however, that you cannot make a judgment on the man without knowing everything about the situation. Perhaps Howard Hughes can see something that is not available to others. Perhaps he sees that she needs something in her life at this stage to give herself a new sense of purpose and need. Perhaps without something of this nature, she will deteriorate into a lifestyle that will not be to her advantage and perhaps he sees that giving her this obligation will get her back into some kind of productive activity that benefits her. This Awareness indicates, in other words, It is suggesting that while the superficial view is that Howard Hughes' spirit is using his ex-wife to do his karmic work, perhaps it is something quite different, and perhaps he sees something that can be helpful to her as well as to himself. This Awareness indicates this being an example of why entities should be reluctant to condemn and judge others. There are always factors that are not made available. Is very difficult for one person to judge another and know the judgment is correct. It is like the saying: "You cannot know another person until you have walked a mile in his moccasins." This Awareness indicates that actually, even that does not let you know the other person. But it is an example of a message suggesting that one who is inside the experience of another is not suitable to be his or her judge. The only people suitable to judge are those entities who are their own selves and can judge themselves, and even these entities may have biases. This is why this Awareness suggests that entities not judge, but discern as much as is possible without judgment. THE DEVIC KINGDOMS: DO THEY REALLY EXIST? (OUR MULTIDIMENSIONAL UNIVERSE) QUESTION: A question from W.E., Minneapolis, Minnesota. "I would like to ask Awareness about the nature spirits as presented in the book "Other Kingdoms," by Hilarion. In different vibrational etheric realms coexisting amongst our physical dimension, Hilarion states there are numerous nature spirit kingdoms who have specific tasks to perform in the creative lifestream. There is a Devic kingdom, whose function is to feed spiritual energy to trees, grass, etc.; spirits of water and air, and even the kingdom of Pan, whose ruler is the god Pan, an entity who presides over a realm of centaurs, Yoda-looking entities, and such, in a parallel division, but existing at a higher vibrational level. It was stated that the Devic kingdom existed to serve mankind, but the kingdom of Pan is not subservient to humankind; it is on a road of evolution similar to we humans of the third dimensional reality, learning the lessons of life and evolving toward the Creative Source. These realms are not a part of Middle Earth, but coexist in different vibratory planes, somehow intertwined with the physical dimension. Could Awareness comment and shed some light on these entities and perhaps explain how these kingdoms came into existence and their relationship to the physical dimension as far as similarities or differences in soul growth, karma and belief?" COSMIC AWARENESS: This Awareness indicates that these parallel universes or parallel dimensions, depending on how one wishes to term these things, are related to that which has been called the electromagnetic scale, where vibrations of different frequencies contain octaves that inter-penetrate each other, just as in music. For example, if you hit the note middle C, not only will you receive the dominant tone of middle C, you will also, through harmonics and what are termed overtones, cause a vibration on all of the lower C notes and all of the higher C notes, such as on a piano or on a harp. These will vibrate out of sympathetic vibration in which the note triggers all other notes of same frequency to vibrate in harmony, or in sympathy with the first note. In addition, the string being struck, middle C, will have its overtones in which both halves of the string will vibrate an octave higher and in addition, both halves will divide into two further halves or quarters of the full string, so that still another octave is heard or vibrated, and in addition, those will continue to split and vibrate also, ad infinitum, so that the note C is heard on multilevels in different octaves. It is the same with regard to the physical universe which from your perspective may be seen as the note C, or in a different sense think of it as the "do" in "do, re, me," and the next higher octave being "do" again, perhaps reflecting the astral world, and then the next higher octave being another "do," reflecting still a higher world, an etheric world, etc., ad infinitum. This Awareness indicates that it is in this manner that beings exist in multidimensional levels. It is also possible that entities, in raising their vibrations high enough up the scale of the Chakras, from the "do" through the "re, me, fa, so, la, ti", may then peer into the next "do", or next octave above the one in which they reside, and glimpse another dimension. It is possible for glimpses between dimensions to occur under certain circumstances. Creations within those dimensions occur in the same manner, even if they are different, and it is also important to realize that within a dimension there are many other frequencies and notes involved that create great varieties of beings, plants, animals or other creations for that dimension to house. The Blue Planet and the Green Planet This Awareness indicates that the planet earth, as seen in your dimension, also encompasses and is seen in other dimensions, so that there can be numerous beings living simultaneously on the earth, but in different dimensions. This Awareness once indicated that entities on earth came from the Blue Planet. Sometime later this Awareness indicated when asked: "How did entities get here from the Blue Planet, and where is the Blue Planet?, this Awareness indicated it is the earth; that the earth exists as the Blue Planet as well as the Green Planet, but entities had to travel great distances through another octave to reach planet earth from the Blue Planet earth. This Awareness indicates it is a reference to movement through these octaves. Essentially, the movement from the Blue Planet to the Green Planet as one movement of humans from etheric levels into physical form; that there are parallel worlds inhabiting the same time and space. There are people using your schools, your homes, your cities, your buildings, whom you do not see. They see these buildings from a different dimension than you see them, and they use these buildings and they assist in creating these buildings, and assume that they are building these things. There are entities who work on vegetation to make the plants grow, and in so doing, you enjoy the plants and you feel that perhaps because you planted them, they are yours, but these entities see that they have planted the plants and they may not even notice you being involved. Likewise, you may put forth the energy to build a building, and while you are working on the building, entities from other dimensions are watching the building grow and develop, much as you watched the plant grow and develop, and when it is completed, they may move in and set up shop, even as do your own people. This Awareness indicates there is room enough for everyone in a multidimensional universe, and there is room enough to share in a multidimensional universe, but it is important that entities not destroy these levels and layers between the universes, for anytime destruction of this nature takes place, you are also affecting others in other universes which are using the same time and space. This Awareness suggests that entities need to become aware of more than their own universe and become aware that the trees which you destroy are not only your trees, but the trees of the nature spirits; that nature spirits can become very frustrated when their work is destroyed repeatedly, over and over again, so that they cease to work for humanity if they feel it is pointless. It would be much like humanity refusing to build any more buildings if storms continued to knock them down repeatedly, over and over again. PAN AND YODA-LOOKING ENTITIES? FOLLOW-UP QUESTION: Is that information valid? It talked about the god Pan as the entity who presides over a realm of centaurs, Yoda-looking entities and such, but existing at a higher vibratory level, and is on a road of evolution similar to humans. COSMIC AWARENESS: This Awareness indicates that this as being a perception by the channel of this information; that the perception as being less than accurate, but relatively meaningful. This Awareness indicates that the concept of Pan as that which developed out of Grecian mythology and has a kind of metaphorical meaning symbolized by the image of a half-man, half-goat character, simply meaning the same thing as something evolving from animal, or animal nature, into mankind, and it is symbolic of the free spirit in movement. This Awareness indicates that it is like using such symbolism to convey a picture or message or image which is based on a symbolic premise rather than an actuality. This Awareness indicates that these things exist inasmuch as the mental concepts exist, but then, of course, you yourself are mental concepts in existence, based on images that have developed from imaginary beginnings. So in this sense, this is accurate as a description, but if you were in the other dimension which is being described, things would not look the same to you as the description that was given. This Awareness indicates that essentially, images and perceptions in many of the other dimensions can take on whatever feature entities wish to see. It is much like a dream state; less real in some ways than the physical world because the physical world is like a composite of multidimensions. Some of these other dimensions are of lesser densities and more pliable, in the same manner that dreams are more pliable. The realm associated with Pan by those who have created the myth and filled this imagery into a particular frequency or vibratory rate known as a dimension; that realm is not solidified to the degree as earth and therefore it can take on mental changes more quickly and easily. In other words, the imagination can have greater control over the appearance of things in that dimension so that an entity, entering into that dimension might see things and perceive things differently than would a second entity who comes in to that dimension. DEVASTATING THE RAIN FORESTS: WHAT EFFECTS ON NATURE SPIRITS? FOLLOW-UP QUESTION: What effect on the nature spirits working in the rain forests, for example, will the devastation of these rain forests have on these entities? COSMIC AWARENESS: This Awareness indicates you must understand that the nature spirits get their sustenance from their crops and they work to bring about plant growth and then they feed on the aura or energy emitted by vitally charged plants. They do not eat the substances. They do not eat the leaves or fruit of the plant, but they absorb the energies that are emitted by healthy plants and they raise the vibration or frequency of that energy in the same manner that humans change food into energy and then they put that energy back into the plants to grow still more vitality for those plants. If the plants are destroyed, the nature spirits are weakened, and in some cases where a whole forest is laid waste, the nature spirits are destroyed totally. It is not that they simply go where there are more forests or living things, for their dedication is to certain areas, certain plants and if that plant is destroyed, or if all the plants in the area are destroyed, those particular nature spirits may also be destroyed. This Awareness indicates that as more and more vegetable life is destroyed on this planet, there are fewer and fewer nature spirits left to attend the vegetation that remains, and in order for these nature spirits to continue to thrive and to increase, the plants of the earth also need to thrive and increase. This Awareness indicates there are certain combinations of energies that are necessary to bring about a thriving and vital plant: temperature, water, soil, nutrients, and nature spirits are all necessary, and when any one or more of these are missing, the plants suffer, and when the plants suffer, it may affect water, atmosphere, nutrients, and weather. It can become a vicious circle so that vegetation might not receive sufficient nutrients, oxygen, weather or water, as is happening in some areas where the rain forests are being quickly turned into deserts, where water is being washed off, rather than soaking in, where smoke is blocking out sunlight, where oxygen is being depleted, where nutrients are being destroyed because plant life which once put fertile nutrients into the soil has been stripped and the soils are now leached of nutrients. CAN NATURE SPIRITS WORK WITH INSECTICIDES? FOLLOW-UP QUESTION: Can, or do nature spirits work with crops that have been treated with insecticides and with chemical fertilizers? COSMIC AWARENESS: This Awareness indicates that this as in the affirmative, that they can and do; that these fertilizers and chemicals are not harmful to the nature spirits, but they are hazardous to human consumption . There is the concern that these chemicals have an effect on the energy surrounding the plant which is devoured or absorbed by the nature spirit, but that is not a problem to the nature spirit, for most of those chemicals and poisons and the fertilizers reside close to the plant and emit energy only outward, a very short distance from the chemical, and the nature spirits absorb their energies from a greater distance from these plants. FOLLOW-UP QUESTION: Hearing about what a hard time they have in a lot of spaces makes you feel like you don't want to even cut your grass. Are nature spirits happier with wild, untended areas, or does it make any difference to them? COSMIC AWARENESS: This Awareness indicates that they do not worry about that kind of clipping and cutting if the grass, the lawn, the bushes are trimmed for the purpose of improving the appearance and growth of the plants; that brings them into harmony with the one who is attending the yard. They see this as a suitable design. It is when entities rip out plants with disrespect for the plants, cause the plants to be butchered and torn that these nature spirits become frustrated in their purposes. This Awareness indicates that even where there are those plants singled out for destruction, the nature spirits are not that upset or frustrated, so long as the attitude of the one attending the lawn is of good will toward vegetation, thus, when one plucks out a thorn or thistle from the lawn or a weed or crabgrass, these nature spirits are not disturbed by this action, for they recognize the need to have different types of order in regard to plant life. It is when they have spent long amounts of work tending a tree, bush or plant, and it is ripped out without any kind of meaningful reason other than some abstract energy emanating from the person which most individuals would recognize as greed, but which these nature spirits sense as being a form of hostility to the plant, that they are disturbed. To them it is like a human watching a war.
