Volume 2, Issue 1

Since there hasn't been a lot of activity lately, hopefully these posts
should spark some.  I think I'm going to try to issue Strangeways every
other week regardless of volume (or lack thereof).  It seems that most
people prefer a bi-monthly journal rather than sporatic posts.  Anyway,
let's get some posts in.

Subject: Strangeways: New Moz single & gigs

New Moz single due on September 30.  My Love Life (originally intended for
earlier release with Pregnant as a b-side) comes with I've Changed My Plea
To Guilty and a live version of There's A Place In Hell.

Then there's a short tour of Britain and Ireland followed by around fifty
dates in the US.  He must like you Americans!

Subject: US Singles

Greetings.

"My Love Life" was released in the United States last friday.  It has the
following tracks:

	My Love Life
	I've Changed My Plea to Guilty
	Skin Storm (same as on Pregnant for the Last Time)

This single, in my opinion, is by far one of his best.  All three songs
are outstanding and it gets away from the rockabilly style music he has
been putting out lately.  The music is very similar to "There's A Place
In Hell..." from the album, that is (not from the concert or the KROQ/
Tonight Show version).  

KROQ also announced that there will be a CD version of the studio 
set Morrissey did after his LA concert.  It is supposed to be released
this Saturday (tomorrow).  Again, this may be only in the United States.
The tracks on this single will be (not necessarily in order):

	There's A Place In Hell For Me and My Friends
	My Love Life
	Sing Your Life

It may be out now...check your local record shops soon :-).
