    Howdeeeeeee! I see the traffic on the Listserv has dramatically
    increased! I now get an average of 20 messages a day??? WHOA! I
    know Jesse is as pleased as punch (as he should be) for getting
    the Listserv together..
    
    On a sad note, Screams of Abel 'Zine is still suffering due to
    lack of interest from readers and advertisers.  Please pray for
    a change..
    
    What a spooky thought!  Brad's Glam New World!! We'd all go
    back to spandex and mousse!  I never knew you had it in you,
    Milit'ry Man!  haha
    
    And finally.. a big event on Sunday, October 1 (aside from
    the Skins-Cowboys game)... my birthday!

    A *major* metal act is proposed for Cornerstone '96; this
    told to me by an unnamed source connected with JPUSA.. more
    details forthcoming..
    
    The GALACTIC COWBOYS are to appear on a Petra tribule
    album, this according to the October 1995 CCM Magazine..
    
    DECISION-D are currently touring Germany and having an
    awesome time with tourmates MORTIFICATION..

    New Jersey's PALE HORSE loses vocalist Rich Olson..

    stations to rave reviews.. it reportedly has a '70s sound..
    
    LIVING SACRIFICE will be with SIX FEET DEEP in Little Rock,
    AR on November 4..
    
    North Carolina progressive metal band SYNAXIS will be at
    Power Alley in Cary, NC Sat Sept 30.. email ddkg@aol.com

    Texas death metal band EMBODYMENT adds a 5th member, vocalist
    Kris MacCaddon.. they also plan to remix their original demo
    "Corrosion of the Flesh" with a new track, and will be
    playing shows in Atlanta and in New Mexico.. Embodyment,

    WEIRDO is a hardcore band from Florida with a new bassist
    and planning to play with P.O.D. and OVERTHROW at 
    Guavaween '95 in Ybor City on Oct 31..
    
    And finally, a review:
    
    R.A.W. Tour (RESURRECTION BAND / WHITECROSS), Colonial
    Theater, Fredericksburg, VA Sat Sept 23
    
    What do you mean "old"??  That's what Dan, the host of the
    concert, had the audacity to blurt out directed toward the
    older crowd (does that include me?) to build anticipation 
    for two antique.. er.. I mean *classic* bands, RESURRECTION
    BAND and WHITECROSS.  The new direction of Whitecross was
    geared toward Generation X with a grungier, more '90s sound.
    Less cheesy but far from my bag (bring back the good old 
    '80s any day!).  Resurrection Band, or as we old farts
    remember as Rez, rocked the house down with their tunes from
    "Lament", their newest offering.  You can still hear the
    KING'S X twist in their sound even if Ty Tabor wasn't working
    the board - real cool!  And finally, something my decrepit
    old ears appreciate hearing: bands speaking the never-too-old
    message of the Gospel, and both bands boldly proclaimed 
    forth, hopefully making a difference in the lives of the 
    young Fredericksburg crowd.  It was a good concert though, to
    be honest, I think Whitecross is going the wrong musical
    direction.  I heard that "senile" comment, Brad!
