    Robert Sweet is getting ready to hawk major STRYPER materials
    including rare stuff.. this was overheard at a Westminster MD
    KING JAMES concert..
    
    CIRCLE OF DUST are scheduled to go back out on the road in
    October in continued support of their latest self-titled
    R.E.X. release.  In the meantime, Scott Albert is producing
    C.O.D.-styled music for magician Criss Angel, while guitarist
    Daren Diolosa is playing with KLANK.  While on tour in 
    Florida, C.O.D. dropped by to host MTV Latino's "Headbangers",
    a show reaching 5 million households in Latin America and the
    U.S. - taken from Michael Mazur PR newsletter..
    
    Meanwhile, with our own MTV (which seems to pale in
    comparison to MTV Latino), ARGYLE PARK, CHATTERBOX and THE
    BLAMED all were recently heard on snowboarding clips on
    "MTV Sports".. Chatterbox also heard on "Prime Cuts" on the
    Prime Sports Network..
    
    MENTAL DESTRUCTION re-released their 1989 project "When
    Madness Strikes" on CD.. Samuel of MD has a side project
    called Azure Skies featured on a German-only blue vinyl
    release..
    
    AETURNUS concerts:
    
     Wed Oct 11 - Drexel Univ., Philadelphia, PA
     Thu Oct 12 - tba, Baltimore, MD
    
    BEOWULF is a death/thrash band from Minneapolis who released
    a 6-song demo, "Circus of the Ugly", along with t-shirts..
    Beowulf, 4325 Royce St., N.E., Minneapolis, MN 55421..
    
    Virginia heavy/groove band RECLUSE CHANT are still working
    on their debut CD.. they will be at Jack's in Springfield
    VA (old home of SOA) Sat Sep 2..
    
    Fellow Virginia band EVERMORE changed their style from hard
    rock to more of a Chili Peppers style.. they will be in
    concert at the Back to School Bash at Reality Gospel Church
    in Springfield, VA Fri Sep 1..
    
    INNOCENT BLOOD is a HR band from Canada who played at New
    York's Rockfest last July..
    
    I got the latest demo from Hawaii's thrashers BLOOD BATH,
    "Fattened and Slaughtered".. total Slayer/Obituary style
    thrash.. P.O. Box 3911, Mililani, HI 96789..
