    According to someone who talked to drummer Alan Doss,
    the Cowboys are signed to Metal Blade..
    
    GALACTIC COWBOYS Version 2:
    
    According to someone who talked to singer Ben Huggins
    (namely 20/20 BLIND's Mike McNeely), the Metal Blade deal
    fell through and the Cowboys broke up again.. guitarist
    Dane Sonnier is working on a blues guitar deal while Alan
    is with a local Houston band..

    BRIDE swept the Hard Rock/Metal Dove Award categories
    this year except for Best Song, going to WHITECROSS.. the
    HR/Metal categories were featured on the pre-show and not
    televised.. and I'm HOW displeased?!?!!???
    
    MORTIFICATION's "Primitive Rhythm Machine" due out May 20
    with George Ochoa (RECON/DELIVERANCE) doing guitar tracks
    since the deal with Jason Campbell didn't pan out beyond
    the U.S. tour.. Canadian drummer Bill Rice still with the
    band while they're looking for an Australian guitarist for
    a permanent lineup to tour Europe August/September..
    
    Australian groove metal band CRY MERCY is to have their
    debut album on Rowe Productions this month..
    
    METANOIA's "Screaming Fetus" is distributed by Rowe.. 
    their debut album on Rowe coming in July..
    
    An Australian Metal Compi 3 due out in June!! This comp
    features CALLOUS (hardcore band featuring ex-MORTIFICATION
    drummer Phil Gibson), DESOLATE ETERNITY, EXHORDER and
    VOMATORIAL CORPULUS.. whoa!
    
    CHAINFLESH is a new groove/thrash band from Finland with

    band from somewhere in the U.S. with their debut on Rowe
    entitled "Psalms".. did I stutter??
    
    The THRASH PUPPIES are a punk band from Australia out on
    Rowe with "Unleashed"..
    
    APOSTASY is a death/"unblack" metal band from Colorado
    with an album out on Rowe, "The Seven Eyes of God"..
    
    And finally, a special note from Rowe: "If you made an
    order that you received between December 1994 and 
    February 1995, please check with your financial 
    institution to see whether the check/MO that you sent has
    been cleared.  If it hasn't, send a replacement (made out
    to Rowe Productions).  An envelope containing 30 checks
    has been lost in the mail.  Thanx!"
