worked hard putting Screams of Abel together not to sit in my room and
gather dust.. interviews with JESUS FREAKS, DECISION-D, ROYAL ANGUISH and
more, special column featuring TOURNIQUET, UNDER MIDNIGHT and more.. $2.75

Soae is now read on RIME Music Conference on RelayNet!!! (Thanx Miguel)

REZ's album, "Lament", is produced by none other than Ty Tabor (KING'S X)..

CIRCLE OF DUST will be playing at Drexel University in Philadelphia early
May.. more details as they show up..

The jury's still not out yet on what to make of EXTREME's album, "Waiting
For The Punchline"..

Remember GENERATION?  The Chicago-based industrial metal band's only album
now distributed by Metal Blade Records.. Bruce Franklin's still with the
band although currently recording new album with Trouble.. in fact, most
band members are in different bands: singer Randy Kerkman is in Yonderboy,
Mark Robertson is in This Train, and Caesar Kalinowski is producing the
new Survivor album while running Sonic Temple (his studio).. Generation
has no current touring plans.. for info on Generation email Mark at

SONS OF THUNDER is a 3-piece HR/HM band from Oklahoma.. other OK bands
include: GROOVE HOUSE, NO BLUFF (grunge with a 14-year old drummer), and
TRACHEROUS DEATH (2-pc thrash??!!)..

*Oddity of the Month*: a British tourist found a MORTIFICATION tape on
sale at an electrical shop in a small town in the middle of the mountains
of Bulgaria!! Yes, we are reaching the world! (no word as to which one)

Review: MORTIFICATION / JESUS FREAKS / ULTIMATUM - Albuquerque NM Fri Feb 10

I went and saw these bands in concert a few days ago, and let me tell
you... it was beyond fun.  For a minute, the mosh pit was like a religious
experience - beautiful. :) ULTIMATUM is a local band that is awesome. 
MORTIFICATION was fun, and I think I saw a previous post about how he
sings.  Yeah, it's a low growl that's really well done, and the music was
good.  JESUS FREAKS were *way cool*, just above and beyond what I expected
live.  They were just awe-inspiring.  If you get a chance to see any of
these guys, do it - it's worth it!
