Another voluminous posting about the FDC driver

        I finally core of the remaining problems with the FDC.
        It comes mainly from a badly formed fdstrategy().

        In a few days I will kludge a fix, in the meantime, I
        need beta-testers and a beta-test-coordinator.
        Send in your e-mail() now.

        Those of you waiting for the QIC-40/80, the flopptical &
        the "odd size"* floppy diskettes, it would be good if you
        volunteered.


        *odd sizes  - include 2.88meg, 720k in a 1.44 or 1.2meg,
                      360k in a 1.2meg, and any remaining non-MS-DOS
                      types (MAC, AMIGA, SPARC, etc.)

        nonodd sizes - 1.44meg ,1.2meg and 360k.
