Sporadic fighting between the military factions continues. There is the possibility of stray fire hitting the "Main South" road between Maseru and the international airport. The U.S. Embassy in Maseru has advised Americans to avoid travel to Maseru until hostilities have ceased. Travel on the "Main South" road from Manthabiseng bus stop to the Moshoeshoe International Airport, as well as areas around military installations or wherever soldiers are present, is especially dangerous. The U.S. Embassy also has advised U.S. citizens in Maseru to stay close to home.
