The U.S. Consulate General in Jerusalem advises all U.S. citizens to exercise extreme caution when traveling in East Jerusalem or the West Bank on this day. Demonstrations or riots may start without prior notice. Travel to the West Bank should be limited to pressing business only. Although the Hebron shootings occurred on February 25, 1994, the Islamic community in the Occupied Territories will observe the anniversary which will make the anniversary eleven days earlier.
