For Immediate Release

Information has been received that the U.S. Embassy in Athens may 
be targeted by a Middle Eastern terrorist organization in early July 
1995.  This is not the first time we have received information of 
this nature, however past information has not resulted in acts of 
violence.  As in the past, the U.S. government is receiving full 
cooperation from Greek security authorities to insure that all 
possible security measures are being taken.
