There have been problems in the wake of the Presidential election including demonstrations, rioting, looting, and other violent incidents in Libreville, Oyen, and other places. Schools and businesses have been closed. Travel in Libreville may be restricted as security forces search cars and monitor movements. The security presence is also high in other cities and towns.
