DEPARTMENT OF STATE BRIEFING FOR FOREIGN STUDENT ADVISORS

The U.S. Department of State will be conducting a briefing for 
Atlanta-area foreign student advisors on Monday, July 19.  The 
session is being designed for individuals who counsel foreign 
students.

Louise Snell, Chief of the Telephone Inquiries Branch in Visa 
Services, will conduct this session along with a representative from 
INS in Atlanta.  They hope to respond to many of your concerns and 
provide valuable information on student visas and other topics of 
mutual interest.

The session will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon at the 
Russell Building, Room 344, 75 Spring Street, S.W., Atlanta, 
Georgia.  Should you have any questions, please call the Bureau of 
Consular Affairs, Public Affairs Office at (202) 647-1488.  No 
registration is necessary.  Interested participants should just show 
up at the designated time.
