The U.S. Embassy further advises that conservative dress may be appropriate for Americans in light of upcoming Ramadan observances during the month of February. The U.S. Embassy recommends that, if possible, Americans avoid densely populated residential areas, especially after dark. While driving, Americans should comply with traffic diversions and detours established by Bahraini traffic police.
