The sessions will be on both visa issuance for foreign students wishing to study in the U.S. and on overseas citizens services available to American students studying overseas. We believe these briefings will be especially helpful to individuals who counsel foreign students and U.S. students who will be studying abroad. The sessions are being provided free as a public service by the State Department. Representatives from the Bureau of Consular Affairs will be at each of these sessions along with a representative from the local INS office in each city. We hope to respond to many of your concerns and provide valuable information on travel safety, student visas and other topics of mutual interest.
