CHEESE BISCUITS Servings: 16 2 c. flour 1/2 c. cheddar, grated 3 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. leaf sage 1 1/4 tsp.caraway 1/4 c. shortening 1/4 tsp. dry mustard 3/4 c. milk Preheat oven to 450F. Combine flour, baking powder, salt and spices in a bowl. Cut in shortening. Stir in milk and cheese. Knead on floured board 20 to 25 times. Roll 1/2 inch thick and cut with floured biscuit cutter. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes.
