SUBscribe
 
To subscribe to a distribution list, send e-mail to the address found in
the COMMANDS TO: field of the LISTVIEW panel for the list to which you want
to subscribe.  The contents of the subject line of your mail doesn't
matter, but the body of the mail message should contain only the line:
 
   SUB listname yourfullname
 
where "listname" is the name of the list to which you are subscribing,
and "your full name" is your name, NOT your e-mail address.  For example:
 
   SUB SAS-L David Avery
 
Please omit any signature line(s) that you normally use on e-mail as
LISTSERV will try to execute these as commands.  LISTSERV will determine
the correct e-mail address for you from the headers of your mail and add
you to the list of subscribers. LISTSERV will confirm the subscription
by return mail to you.
