The classic Tale of Genji novel, possibly the first novel ever
written. In Japanese, SGML format.

NOTE: This file is in multi-byte-character Kanji/Kana, not ASCII. You
will need Japanese character tools to display this file. It seems to
display fine under X11's kterm, for example. Needless to say it is NOT
an English translation of the novel, it is in Japanese.

P.S. SGML is "Standard Graphics Markup Language", an ISO standard
format for marking up text, such as <bold>this text is bold</bold>,
meant to be generic and portable (or equally useless to everyone, but
it is good stuff you just need tools to deal with it, but it's easy to
ignore and read text in SGML also.) There is SGML in this file.
