SCHEDULE.EXE Shareware Current Version : 1.01 1 Aug 1990 <<< EDIT/REVISION RECORD >>> 8/28/1989 SharwWare Ver. 1.00 ------------------- SCHEDULE.EXE converted to a sharware program. Changed the help handling so that it no longer requires the FW.COM program and SCHEDULE.HLP file. A /HELP or "?" now brings up an abreviated list of commands. Also made minor cosmedic changes. 7/27/1990 SharwWare Ver. 1.01 ------------------- Several problems were fixed in this release: 1. The LOG function did not work. Only the first message was logged in the file. Subsequent messages were not logged because the file could not be located. 2. Any '/' command which was not a valid SCHEDULE internal command could cause a problem. For example, '/P' caused COMMAND.COM to initiate AUTOEXEC.BAT. Now any '/' command that is unrecognized will be equivalent to '/help'. 3. A command in SCHEDULE.DAT scheduled to run 'NOW' would cause SCHEDULE to lose track of other scheduled commands. This has been fixed. Other cosmetic changes were made in the program, especially with respect to logging and display functions (/LIST, /NOTICE, and /FLAGS). Now when logging is turned on, the program writes its version information to the logging file. Whenever logging is turned on or off, or the log level is changed, this is noted in the logging file. Also, if logging is turned on and the user exits from the SCHEDULE function, this is noted in the log file. The display functions /LIST, /NOTICE, and /FLAGS will always display on the screen. If the print option is selected, the functions will also send their output to the printer.
